Teemu Airamo has had a distinguished career in media, starting at the age of 12 as a radio presenter rising to become Program Director in Sweden starting early days development of interactive and mobile. Mr. Airamo studied at the National Film TV School in the UK for Master of Arts Film and Television before joining MTV Networks in London as an On Air Associate Producer. After MTV Mr. Airamo joined 95.8 Capital FM in London as Associate Music Director, he contributed ideas to the definition of music programming focus, integrating strategies across multiple platforms and he was instrumental in the set up and launch of the Capital FM’s internet and digital radio systems, while also representing Capital FM at music industry and press events. Airamo was hired by the BBC as an internal liaison to various departments (technical, promotions, production) to provide information and knowledge about music programming. While employed in the aforementioned positions, Mr. Airamo won or led a team to win a variety of awards in the field e.g. New York Radio Awards, and Sony Gold Award.
In May 2008, Mr. Airamo founded MMI Broadcasting Ltd /LLC and later started its subsidiary Viveca Media and has acted as its Chief Executive Officer since its inception. During his time building up these companies from the ground Mr. Airamo has gained excessive knowledge in development, various programming languages and technologies. When not working Mr. Airamo has been seen dressing up as an Apple genius.
